Publication Scheme

What is a Publication Scheme?

The Freedom of Information Act 2000 (FOI Act) requires public authorities to adopt and maintain a publication scheme, the purpose of which is to:

  • Specify the classes of information we have committed to publish;
  • Say how we will make that information available;
  • Say whether the information is available free of charge or on payment.

Most of the information covered by our publication scheme will be made available on this website. If you need information in an alternative format, we will do all we reasonably can to help.

Our publication scheme follows the Information Commissioner’s model publication scheme for public authorities.

CCG Sanction Reporting

As commissioners we must publish on our website details of the financial sanctions due and applied to each of our major providers for failure to achieve national standards set out in their NHS Standard Contracts.

The sanction document enclosed details these sanctions on a quarterly basis for each of the CCG’s major providers. The quarterly positions do not show a cumulative position but we have included a YTD tab so you can see total sanctions applied year to date.

At the time of publication we have used the latest data available to us and therefore the data included is subject to change in future publications.

Further information can be found in the NHS Standard Contract Technical Guidance
